Born and raised&nbsp;in Los Angeles,&nbsp;DiCaprio got his start as an extra in&nbsp;films and TV shows. In 1991, however, he received his first major role on Growing Pains&nbsp;as Luke Brower, a homeless&nbsp;teenager taken in by the Seaver family.
