The 38-year-old singer known for his groovy tracks and smooth vocals last visited Singapore in 2018 for two sold-out shows for his 24K Magic World Tour. He was also in Singapore in 2014 for the Moonshine Jungle Tour. Both of his previous tour stops in Singapore were performed at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, marking his upcoming show as his largest in Singapore yet.
While ticket prices for the show have yet to be released, what we do is that there will be a special presale for LiveNation members on January 19, as long as you have a LiveNation and Ticket Master account. General sales will take place on January 20, in just 10 days. For this year’s tour, Mars played a show in Macau on January 6, and will also be making his way to Tokyo, Bangkok, South Korea, the Philippines and Las Vegas from now till June.
Mars has steadily built a reputation as a talented musician, loved for his natural funk and musicality, and his hit-making chops. His music career which spans almost two decades features a wide range of genres including R&B, funk, soul, reggae and pop. He has garnered a whopping 10 individual Grammy wins, including Album of the Year for his third studio album 24K Magic in 2018 and Best Pop Vocal Album in 2014 for Unorthodox Jukebox. Vocal prowess aside, the performer is also beloved for his natural charisma on stage and retro showmanship skills that have led him to critical acclaim.
Aside from his successful solo tracks (cue ‘That’s What I Like’ and ‘Runaway Baby’), the singer, who hails from Hawaii, teamed up with Anderson .Paak in 2021 to form musical duo Silk Sonic.
