Journey Through the Stars with BTS on Their Upcoming Disney+ Docuseries
The eight-part Disney+ exclusive documentary will debut on December 20.
After their 2022 Disney+ debut with exclusive concert film BTS: PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LA, Korean sensation BTS goes on screen together once again with their upcoming documentary BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star. ARMYs are in for a treat as the iconic K-Pop group is set to let their fans in on their journey across their 10-year career as global artists in a captivating docuseries format by Disney+.
BTS’ charm remains unparalleled as proven by the overwhelming support of ARMYs worldwide from the group’s humble beginnings as 3rd generation K-Pop idols to each of the members’ personal projects to date. As a way to show their appreciation, the 7-member boy group has set out to collaborate with Disney+ on an exclusive eight-part documentary series BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star. Shining the spotlight on the group’s key moments over the years, the upcoming project will feature never-before seen interviews, performances, and behind-the-scenes bits of members RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
ARMYs can also look forward to seeing highly personal moments between the boys including how they felt as they met each other for the first time, the transition to becoming global pop icons, the difficulties they went through during COVID, as well as lighthearted celebrations including J-Hope’s surprise birthday party and Jungkook’s high school ceremony. The series also features appearances from HYBE Chairman Bang Si-Hyuk, and BEYOND THE STORY : 10-YEAR RECORD OF BTS author Kang Myeongseok.
The docuseries will debut on December 20 with a two-episode premiere, exclusively on Disney+, and will follow with two succeeding episodes scheduled every Wednesday. Aside from the upcoming docuseries, ARMYs can also enjoy exclusive BTS content available on Disney+ including BTS: PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LA, SUGA: Road to D-Day, j-hope IN THE BOX, and IN THE SOOP: Friendcation.
