A partnership between Gu Sheng Tang and Nanyang Technological University is set to provide traction for the ancient practice in contemporary wellness.

In an effort to raise the cultural relevancy and legitimacy of TCM, leading TCM healthcare group Gu Sheng Tang TCM recently partnered with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) to launch the Gu Sheng Tang Traditional Chinese Medicine Education and Research Programme, investing $1.06 million into TCM talent development and science-backed research in Singapore. The initiative marks a significant step towards mainstreaming TCM in scientific and academic discourse, elevating its standing in contemporary wellness from fringe mysticism to evidence-based practice.
&ldquo;By working closely with NTU, we aim to establish a stronger foundation for TCM through rigorous research and high-quality talent development, enabling TCM to play a more meaningful role with modern healthcare systems,&rdquo; explains Tu Zhiliang, founder, chairman and CEO of Gu Sheng Tang TCM. In 2025, three Gu Sheng Tang TCM formulations have been approved by the Health Sciences Authority of Singapore. With academic validation and quality-controlled products, modern men will be more willing to embrace TCM in their own holistic self-care.
