Cooper Koch Stars in Saint Laurent’s Cinematic Campaign ‘As Time Goes By’
The project features seven short films based on French novelist Marcel Proust’s “In Search of Lost Time”.
Cooper Koch is having a hell of a year in 2024. After receiving a Golden Globes nomination for his leading role in Netflix’s “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story”, the American actor enters the world of high fashion by starring in Saint Laurent’s new cinematic campaign, “As Time Goes By”.
The project is inspired by the Maison’s founder’s favourite book, “In Search of Lost Time” by Marcel Proust, a monumental piece of Parisian literature that is a challenging yet completely rewarding read. Proustian themes such as nostalgia, emotion and the human condition are captured in seven vignettes by director Nadia Lee Cohen and under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello, with Koch appearing in the “Togetherness” chapter:
The rest of the collection features an eclectic cast that includes screen veterans Charlotte Gainsbourg, John Waters and Chloë Sevigny, as well as fresh faces like Addison Rae, Joey King and Travis Bennett.
