Bell & Ross Pushes Into the Future with the BR 03 Cyber Ceramic
Transforming the iconic BR 03 with facetted angles and clean lines.
Following a slight downsize in dimensions, the physical transformation of the Bell & Ross BR 03 now takes on a futuristic bent. Brand co-founder and creative director Bruno Belamich redefines the iconic model by combining its emblematic design with the graphic sci-fi codes of the Cyber line.
Ostensibly, the ultra-modern character of the BR 03 Cyber Ceramic comes through its facetted, three-dimensional appearance. It brings to mind a powerful stealth bomber, with sharp-edged fuselages that deflect radar waves to become undetectable. Taking the concept of invisibility further, the dial and main components of the automatic BR-CAL.383 calibre have been openworked to create a spectacular skeleton architecture.
The watch is crafted in matte black ceramic, a high-tech material that’s both strong and lightweight with incredible resistances. Matte black, because it’s the signature shade of the BR 03 that is simultaneously bold and discreet. Ceramic is also used in the glossy metallic hour markers under the sapphire crystal surface, while lugs have been removed to preserve the watch’s streamlined profile, with the housing for the rubber strap cut directly into the case.
The BR 03 Cyber Ceramic embodies the uninhibited vision of futuristic watchmaking by Bell & Ross, without compromising the strength and identity of one of its cornerstone collections.
