ATEEZ's 'The Fellowship: Break The Wall World Tour' is Landing in Singapore
This will be a landmark performance for the group who will be performing to Singaporean ATINYs for the first time.
Brace yourselves, ATINY! The highly anticipated moment draws near. ATEEZ, the captivating K-pop sensation, is all set to grace the stage in Singapore for the very first time on September 9th at the prestigious Singapore Indoor Stadium. This landmark Singapore concert is a highlight in the extensive Asia leg of their global tour, which encompasses significant stops in Taipei, Hong Kong, Manila, and Bangkok.
Starting in Seoul last year, their tour traversed Japan before kicking off its dynamic Asian leg in the latter part of 2023. Throughout this year-long expedition, ATEEZ has engaged with a staggering 430,000 fans across Seoul, Japan, the United States, and Europe. Fueled by the continuing fervor of their 2023 tour, ATEEZ triumphantly orchestrated encore performances in Seoul and Japan. The journey presses forward, as they gear up for their inaugural Asian and Latin American tour since their debut, reaffirming their worldwide prominence.
The eight member K-pop sensation made up of Hoonjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Wooyoung, Jongho and Mingi will be performing songs from their latest album, The World Ep.2: Outlaw which has garnered immense success worldwide. Notably, this album's resounding success extends to the United States, where it has impressively secured its place on the Top 200 Albums chart for five consecutive weeks. In the week concluding on July 29th, the mini album made a notable appearance at No. 171, marking ATEEZ's inaugural five-week achievement on the prestigious Billboard 200. More impressively, the mini-album outsold the collective sales of the next five highest-selling albums on the chart, including offerings from Queens of the Stone Age, Stray Kids, Enhypen, and Taylor Swift. This milestone was achieved just a month following the album's June release, underscoring the mini album's unwavering popularity.
Even on its debut day, The World EP.2: OUTLAW surged as the group's fastest-selling album, surpassing the initial-day sales figures of SPIN OFF: FROM THE WITNESS, which amassed approximately 350,000 units on its release day.
Hence, The 2023 The Fellowship: Break The Wall World Tour promises a musical journey of epic proportions, featuring crowd-favourite tracks such as the smash hit "Bouncy (K-HOT CHILLI PEPPERS)." This powerhouse track has already garnered a staggering 91 million views and counting on YouTube. During a press conference, the group attributed their success to ATINY, their dedicated fandom that has remained steadfast through every phase of the group's career.
Amidst their demanding schedule, the group underscores the profound impact of ATINY's unwavering love and support. San conveyed during a press conference for their world tour, "I think the reason we could stay motivate is because of ATINY's love and support. While difficult at times, the energy and love from fans really empowered us. Going into schedules I felt I could gain strength to do my best." Hoonjong explained that their connection with their fans extends to the music and performances they make, "We always try to listen and see their opinion, what they want and what they want to listen and see. When we make new albums and stages, we always consider their opinions and what they want. This is part of our good relationship and communication [with them]"
ATEEZ's unique bond with ATINY is truly exceptional. With each triumph and milestone, the group's heartfelt dedication remains unwavering, channeling their achievements to their fervent fans. When asked about the pinnacle of their world tour thus far, Jongho expressed, "The moment I find most enjoyable is being on stage and performing in front of our fans. When we see our fans, we get a lot of energy from ATINY and we we want to thank you for that." It is this bond that sees the group going from strength to strength since their debut five years ago.
