Your First Look at Park Bo-gum and Kim So-hyun's Upcoming Series, 'Good Boy'
The action-packed drama ‘Good Boy’ will be out in the latter half of 2024.

After waiting a couple of months, we finally have a first look at Park Bo-gum and Kim So-hyun's upcoming series, Good Boy. This comes just in time as the world is enraptured by hype surrounding the 2024 Paris Olympics, coinciding perfectly with the premise of the show. Good Boy tells the story of an Olympic gold medalists turned police officers played by Park Bo-gum and Kim So-hyun. The latter's characters won gold for South Korea in boxing and shooting respectively but due to certain circumstances and hardships in life, the two left their sports careers to fight injustice and crime.
With such a heartfelt and action-packed premise, we now have visuals of the show shared by JTBC and it seems so depict their previous lives as Olympic athletes. Check out the fresh stills from the highly anticipated show below:
While the broadcast schedule and premiere date has yet to be announced, it is likely that the show will drop towards the third quarter of the year, though still slated for 2024. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.

Action fanatics, you’re going to love this. Park Bo-gum and Kim So-hyun are teaming up to star in Good Boy (literal title), an action-packed drama that follows a team of Olympic gold medallists as they embark upon their second lease of life. The drama’s plot follows the group of athletes who, after struggling with financial trouble, injuries and short career spans, become police officers. Together, they band together to form the “Olympic Avengers”, using their special skillsets gained from years of rigorous athletic training to fight violent crime in South Korea.
Park Bo-gum, whom you might recognise from Reply 1998, stars as Yoon Dong-joo, a former Olympic gold medallist in boxing, who reignites his passion and instincts for boxing (and hand-to-hand combat) after joining the Special Violent Crime Unit in the South Korean police force. My Lovely Liar’s Kim So-hyun plays an archer by the name of Ji Han-na, who won gold medals at the Olympics in the past, gaining the nickname “Shooting Goddess” from the public for her skills and stunning visuals. After an unfortunate incident, she suddenly retires from the sport and enters the police force.
Good Boy is to be directed by Shim Na-yeon, who was responsible for previous hit dramas like The Good Bad Mother and Beyond Evil, and is written by screenwriter Lee Dae-il, who also wrote Chief of Staff which starred Shin Min-ah. The action drama is slated for release in the second half of 2024.
