After doing your civic duty by voting in the General Elections, treat yourself to an Afternoon Delight by heading down to the Maison Margiela Fragrance House of Memories pop-up at Beach Road. There, you’ll get to experience a multi-sensory journey through the memories and fantasies of the Replica collection.

On the first level is the Afternoon Delight Café, inspired by the newest Replica Eau de Toilette. You’ll immediately notice the scent as you walk in, with notes of warm madeleines and sun-drenched air — it’s as if you’re at a chic Parisian drinking spot people-watching. The space is styled as such, with aromatic lattes and delicate pastries completing the scenography.

Upstairs is an experiential space with interactive installations that bring to life the iconic scents of Maison Margiela Fragrances. You can sit By The Fireplace, or roll around in white sheets as you would on a Lazy Sunday Morning. There’s a mirrored room styled as a beach walk to showcase the breezier scents, and an immersive chamber where you can discover the Fantasies collection — eau de parfums that embody dreamlike scenarios like Flying and Dancing on the Moon.

Additionally, there are creative masterclasses that explore the interplay of fragrance, memory and self expression. Led by local artists Baremetal and Hier Goods, participants get to create their own Replica bottle-shaped keychain or spend a cosy session of letter writing, creating their own unique memories in the process.

The Maison Margiela Fragrances House of Memories will be open to the public until 18 May at 265 Beach Road, so be sure to pop by when you have the chance.
