Fendi Men’s Spring/Summer 2025 Show Melds Modernity and Heritage
Silvia Venturini Fendi masterfully blends Fendi's rich heritage with contemporary design, infusing it with a youthful punch.
Fendi's kicking off its 100th anniversary with a bang, and Silvia Venturini Fendi is diving headfirst into the brand's legacy. The Spring/Summer 2025 menswear show is a stylish journey through Fendi's past, present, and future.
Venturini Fendi went all out, digging into the archives to create a fresh house crest that’s a nod to the brand’s iconic elements. Think Karl Lagerfeld's Double-F logo, the vintage Pequin stripe, and a quirky tribute to her grandmother Adele, inspired by a squirrel! And let's not forget Janus, the Roman god of transitions, symbolizing Fendi’s century-long reign as a fashion game-changer.
The show venue was a masterpiece of natural light, with mirrored pillars moving around the central space to guide models down the runway. These mechanical cubes added a futuristic vibe to a collection rich in nostalgic menswear staples. The first look featured casual trench coats and checkered trousers, followed by relaxed T-shirts, cropped windbreakers, and double-breasted suits with luxurious touches. Academic vibes made a stylish appearance with v-neck pullovers, patterned neckties, and F-branded caps, giving off serious prep school energy. The accessories were a highlight too, especially the large metal-clasped case in look 45, a jewel box adorned with the facade of Fendi's founding store.
