Bulgari’s Iconic B.zero1 is Imbued with the Power of the Spiral
More than a design motif, the ring's Tubogas construction represents its constant cycle of renewal.
Like the Dean’s stairs in St. Paul’s Cathedral or the Guggenheim’s winding ramp, the structural spiral of the Bulgari B.zero1 defines its monumental personality. The ring’s flexible bands are wrought using the industrial-inspired Tubogas technique and sandwiched between two flat circlets inscribed with the Maison’s classic double logo, evoking the unmistakable profile of Rome’s Colosseum.
Over 25 years, the B.zero1 has toyed with its architecture by varying the number of stacks within its central band, as well as incorporating cutting-edge materials like ceramic and decorative elements like metallic studs on the spiral.
In 2024, the B.zero1 welcomes a new sophisticated three-band design: a diamond pavé set in a wave inside the ring’s edges, giving it a touch of stylish oomph. There’s also a fearless two-band model boasting a core entirely covered with multi-sized pavé diamonds, making it the drippiest addition to the lineup.
Even the essential styles are impactful, from unornamented three-band rings to clean and minimal bangles — a testament to the power of the B.zero1 design.
