Throughout the evening of March 3rd, Celine unveiled their Winter 22 Men’s collection, titled 'BOY DOLL', on the House’s Instagram and YouTube platforms.

Filmed by Hedi Slimane in Paris, the video was shot in one of the most emblematic venues in Paris, L’Olympia de Paris. Being the oldest music hall in the City of Lights, it first opened its doors in 1893 to host a countless number of prestigious operas, ballets and the best music performances.

The collection was a perfect representation of what you’d expect punk glamour to look like, an echo to the iconic backdrop of L’Olympia which has hosted some of the most celebrated rock stars including – but definitely not limited to – Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie and many more. This collection, which was perfectly in tune with the brand’s contemporary aesthetic, could possibly contain some of Slimane’s finest work at the French luxury house.

Boxy jackets were paired to flared and distressed pants and complemented with shiny pinstripes that ran down some of the more elevated looks, while silver and gold-fringed sweaters and sweatpants with sparkling beaded threads were the real stars of the show.

The art of American artist, Banks Violette, was also featured on three looks from the collection. Her work appeared on an oversized leather teddy jacket, an oversized leather biker jacket with a white horse on the reverse, and on cropped white tank tops.

The punk undertones were completed by cruiser boots, knee-high cowboy boots and many large platform shoes, while all outfits were enhanced by the 'BOY DOLL' jewellery.
