Hit the Pitch in Style with ‘adidas Football for Prada’
The debut collection re-engineers three iconic boots using the sophisticated codes of Linea Rossa.
adidas and Prada introduce their first ever joint football collection, combining the sporting giant’s high-performance technologies with the luxurious craftsmanship of Prada’s Linea Rossa. All three boots feature lining and uppers expertly crafted in the finest leather, with the bold red iconography of Linea Rossa on clean, monochromatic black, white and silver bases.
The original X Crazyfast silhouette is reinvented with premium leather without compromising its lightweight and translucent construction. Interspersed with adidas’ Fusion Skin, the leather flows prominently throughout the shoe for an elevated material finish, while the semi-transparent mono-mesh is adapted to showcase Prada’s iconic triangles.
Paying homage to the design codes of both brands, the Copa Pure features a shimmering silver leather upper that is synonymous with Prada, with a leather lace cover nodding to archival styles from adidas. The full-leather shoe is completed with Fusion Skin and soft cushioning on the forefoot for delicate ball control.
The Predator Accuracy is reimagined with nubuck for the first time, wrapped in Fusion Skin for a lighter, performance-oriented finish. The bold black look is highlighted by the Prada Linea Rossa stripe on the tongue and heel, with soft triangular ‘spikes’ on the upper to optimise ball control and shooting accuracy.
The “adidas Football for Prada” lineup is unveiled on some of the best footballers in the world, including Catarina Macario and Paulo Dybala in Copa Pure, Rafael Leão in X Crazyfast and Pedri González in Predator Accuracy. The collection will also be showcased through an exclusive kit for the FIFA 23 Ultimate Team video game, with in-game versions of a jersey and shorts in black and white to further celebrate the collaboration.
