Kim Jones Reunites with KAWS in the latest Dior Men Capsule
The New York artist transforms the Maison’s signatures into stylised snakes.
Here’s a winning formula: menswear staples tinged with KAWS mischief. Kim Jones reunites with the cult contemporary artist for the latest Dior Men capsule, extending the dialogue that began with his very first show as the Maison’s Men’s Artistic Director back in Summer 2019.
This time, the signature “Dior” and “CD” logos are reimagined into stylised snakes, heralding the coming year. The playful emblems are adorned on sporty tracksuits, bermuda shorts, Rider 2.0 messenger bags, as well as the B33 and B57 sneakers.
Elsewhere, quilted overshirts are embellished with cannage graphics, while knits are enveloped in the magnified Dior Oblique motif. The collection’s youthful swagger is punctuated by beefy B35 NXXT sneakers (now in neon yellow and red) with their distinctive openwork cannage rubber soles, as well as refined brass jewellery such as necklaces, bracelets and brooches. There’s a whole lot to love, for sure.
The Dior Men and KAWS capsule will be available in Dior boutiques from 2 January. Check out more of our favourite looks from the collection below:
