IM Men, Issey Miyake's menswear line, revealed a bright and energetic Spring/Summer 2026 collection on Thursday in Paris at the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art.

Titled “Dancing Texture,” the collection brings various materials to life in a way that feels news. Pieces are overwhelmingly inspired by Japanese ceramic artist Shoji Kamoda, whose career spanned only two decades. The collection title is incredibly fitting as it contains multiple layers of careful draping, pleating, and thoughtful colorways. Sen Kawahara, Yuki Itakura, and Nobutaka Kobayashi, who make up the design team leading IM Men, made sure all was eye-catching.

With choreographed movement implemented in the show, the texture of the clothing truly came to life on the runway. Detailed garments draw attention to the careful structure that adds dimension to the clothing. The IM Men design team provided a philosophical take on the way the pieces should be approached.
