All The Best Dressed Men at the Star-Studded 2025 Met Gala

The men definitely dressed up and showed some serious style chops on the blue carpet this year.

The first Monday in May once again marked fashion’s grandest night as New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art transformed into a dazzling celebration of style, culture, and artistry. This year’s Met Gala honored the opening of the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, inspired by Monica L. Miller’s groundbreaking 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.

In line with the exhibit, the evening’s dress code — “The Garden of Time: Tailored for You” — invited guests to explore the rich history and artistry of tailoring and menswear. Co-chaired by Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell Williams, the gala spotlighted creative, powerful homages to Black sartorial elegance and innovation.

From sharply cut suits to lavish embellishments, these are the best-dressed men who redefined formalwear on fashion’s most iconic red carpet.

SEVENTEEN's S. COUPS

Freshly announced BOSS ambassador, S. COUPS of SEVENTEEN made his Met Gala debut in a custom tonal grey suit by the label inspired by the traditional South Korean hanbok. The K-pop star finished his look with a little bling, courtesy of Piaget’s Haute Horlogerie Polo Chronograph.

Colman Domingo

Co-chair Colman Domingo made an entrance at the carpet earlier with his scene-stealing, floor-length blue cape with a gold bib-like collar — a nod to the late fashion trailblazer André Leon Talley. Later on, he revealed a Valentino black-and-gray suit that played on prints — a windowpane blazer adorned with pearls, pinstripe shirt underneath, herringbone pants, and polkadots tie and flower brooch.

Pharrell Williams

The creative director of Louis Vuitton menswear put a twist on a classic silhouette. Pharrell wore a double-breasted white blazer covered with 100,000 individually-stitched pearls, matched with his signature flared trousers in black and matching sunglasses.

A$AP Rocky

Embodying the spirit of a 21st-century dandy, A$AP Rocky wore a Marmot jacket — a tribute to Harlem— over a refined black suit from his own brand AWGE. What made his look more striking are the blinding accessories — a Bvlgari High Jewelry necklace and brooch and a custom Briony Raymond umbrella encrusted in 90 carats-worth of diamonds.

Lewis Hamilton

The Formula One star stepped out in a custom ivory suit by Wales Bonner, featuring a cropped jacket layered over a silky button-up tied with a bow, paired with a high-waisted trouser. The all-white ensemble was elevated with baobab-inspired brooches, a shell-trimmed sash at the waist, and a smooth beret by Stephen Jones Millinery.

Bad Bunny

As the theme encourages creative interpretations, Bad Bunny drew inspiration from his Puerto Rican roots with his brown Prada suit, matched with a pava (straw) hat and a Flor de Maga-inspired brooch. He also has embellished leather gloves and an oversized bowling bag from the same designer house.

Chance the Rapper

As Donatella Versace’s date for the night, Chance the Rapper strutted on the carpet in his nude Versace suit, adorned with a couple of floral brooches. The ensemble also featured a bold leather vest, a funky-patterned necktie and a wooly felt hat that brought balance between vintage flair and contemporary edge.

Christian Latchman

As the face of the 2025 Met Gala, the model rose to the occasion with his cream-colored suit with a long, pleated train from the rising brand 5000 by designer Taylor Thompson. This is paired with a stark black shirt with an oversized lapel by Theophilio and a large carnation brooch.

Keith Powers

The American actor and model made his debut at the Met Gala with a head-turning look from BOSS. The chic cropped black jacket, worn with a crisp, high-collared pinstripe button-down, and the flowy, wide-leg pants, came together to create a dramatic silhouette.

André 3000

The iconic rapper and singer-songwriter completely stole the show as he walked up the Met stairs with a grand piano on his back. He is also wearing workwear-inspired, navy coveralls from Burberry, styled with a red chapeau and chunky black shoes — reminiscent of the cover of his new album.

Damson Idris

Another show-stopper — figuratively and literally — is the outfit reveal of Damson Idris at the blue carpet. Entering with a F1-inspired tracksuit and a Swarovski-covered helmet, he later unveiled a dapper ensemble by Tommy Hilfiger — a half-and-half tuxedo styled with Tartan textile, flared pants and sharp boots, all in vibrant red.

Walton Goggins

The White Lotus star just walked out on his first Met Gala in style — twirling and dancing around with his inside-out skirt courtesy of Thom Browne. Completing the fashion-forward skirt, the actor also wore a long, two-toned overcoat with a sleek combo of a white undershirt and black tie.

Dwyane Wade

As love filled the air of the museum's stairs, the basketball superstar and his wife Gabrielle Union donned in Prada — with Wade sporting a three-piece suit with black trousers, white tailcoat, and the star of the outfit, a teal vest punctuated with multicolored accents.

Barry Keoghan

Styled in custom Valentino, Barry Keoghan referenced the Beatles with his military-inspired wool jacket, accentuated with an intricately detailed collar, a suave red waist sash, and flower-embroidered sleeves. Set to play as Ringo Starr, the actor referenced one of the band’s album covers, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Adrien Brody

The two-time Oscars Best Actor exuded gothic glamor in an all black outfit composed of loose tuxedo pants with a simple cummerbund, a satin high-necked top, and a blazer with exaggerated shoulders, accented with a crystal calla lily brooch.

Callum Turner

Together with his popstar partner Dua Lipa, Callum Turner looked savvy in a timeless Louis Vuitton suit with a double-breasted black blazer layered over a white satin long sleeves, a crystal-embellished necktie, and well-fitted dress pants.

Jeremy Allen White

Jeremy Allen White is classically suited on his debut at the Met Gala this year. Dressed in Louis Vuitton, White donned a striped three-piece suit with a jacket designed with angular paneling, a neat white cotton button-up, and a diamond-structured brooch — all clean, polished, and tailored.
