Each season, anticipation for Dolce & Gabbana's latest collection reaches new heights. For the Men’s Spring/Summer 2025 line, they captivated us with a noir film featuring a sharply dressed, handsome man exuding a carefree vibe by the ocean. We were instantly hooked.
On the second day of Milan Fashion Week, Dolce & Gabbana unveiled “Italian Beauty,” a tribute to the effortless charm and debonair attitude of Italian men. Stefano and Domenico focused on embellishments, showcasing Italian flair for ornamentation without going overboard. The opening looks featured relaxed tailored shirts and blousons in earthy tones, black, and white, all crocheted in open-work natural raffia or soft leather replicating straw textures. These were paired with high-waisted, loose-fitting pin-tucked trousers or relaxed tailored shorts, with the same weaving techniques extending to the accessories line. Despite the rich textures and intricate craftsmanship, the collection maintained a sense of lightness and ease, a quality only Dolce & Gabbana can master.
Suits also had their moment in this collection, crafted into impeccably relaxed ensembles using fluid natural fabrics. These came mostly in off-white tones, with touches of dark green, burgundy, and “Sicily black.” The collection also featured summer-striped polo shirts, irresistible knitted waistcoats, and sleeveless sweaters paired with slouchy cotton trousers.
