Continuing to push the boundaries, menswear is redefining gender in fashion.
Now more than ever, menswear is proving gender is simply a construct. Between the latest runway collections and street style looks, the lines between traditional feminine and masculine styles have become increasingly blurred. During the women's Fall/Winter 2022 season, Miu Miu styled their cult classic mini skirt on a select few male models. And just a few weeks ago, in a final celebration of the late Virgil Abloh and his legacy, Louis Vuttion Men's Spring/Summer 2023 collection featured voluminous show-stopping skirts.
Styles once confined to the realm of womenswear have, without a doubt, become androgynous. Maxi, midi, and even mini skirts flooded the streets during the recent Spring/Summer 2023 menswear season with the reclaimed style showing no signs of stopping.
