Louis Vuitton was in its Marc Jacobs era when it premiered a kaleidoscopic rendition of its iconic Monogram on the Spring/Summer 2003 runway. No one had dared touch the emblem before this moment, but when Jacobs invited Japanese artist Takashi Murakami to work his magic, the rest became history. This was the defining fashion collaboration of the early aughts, and 20 years on this creative bond is as relevant as ever.

Housed in a historic Peranakan shophouse, visitors will first be greeted by a colourful façade decorated with the smiling rainbow flowers of the 3D Superflat Garden. Inside, there are four distinct zones: a Retail Space to cop goodies; a Cinema screening two original Superflat movies; a Care Station that provides repair services for archival Louis Vuitton x Murakami pieces; and a Cafe that serves a variety of beverages like coffee latte and lemonade in a specially designed cup.
