Penfolds and Nigo Partner Up

The multi-year relationship will see the streetwear legend taking the creative lead in selected projects, starting with One by Penfolds.

Cult streetwear legend Nigo has joined Penfolds as its first-ever Creative Partner. The founder of Human Made and current artistic director of Kenzo will lend his creative vision to selected projects by the Australian winemaker, starting with the global launch of One by Penfolds.

The One by Penfolds range celebrates “oneness”, embracing all the things that make us different as well as those that bring us together. Working alongside the communities of each winemaking region, regional perspectives and nuances are captured within each bottle and unified via Penfolds’ distinct House Style, creating a worldly set of wines that is rich and vibrant.

A passionate wine collector and lover of fine wines himself, Nigo has designed four animal motifs in his signature style to be showcased on the wine labels. The crocodile, rooster, panda and bear represent the four winemaking regions where One by Penfolds wines are sourced: Australia, France, China and America respectively. The creative visionary also designed a collection of limited-edition t-shirts and jackets for the launch, which will be available through his Human Made label.

The One by Penfolds debut is also accompanied by a new initiative called “Penfolds Evermore”, whereby Penfolds will donate AUD $1million over five years as part of a global grant program. The goal is to make a positive contribution for future generations, underscoring One by Penfolds’ ethos of “community”. 

One by Penfolds by Nigo is available in Singapore from 4 August online and at select restaurants and bars.
