NCT’s Doyoung is now Officially Dolce & Gabbana’s Global Ambassador
The South Korean singer fronted the brand’s Fall/Winter campaign in Korea and Japan.
NCTzens, rejoice! Doyoung formally joins the house of Dolce & Gabbana as a Global Ambassador. This news comes months after Doyoung’s first appointment to the house as a regional ambassador for the Korean and Japanese markets. The main vocalist of South Korean boyband NCT also fronted the brand’s Fall/Winter 2023 campaign for the two territories this year.
The Italian luxury fashion house has been collaborating with the idol for a while now, inviting him to exclusive D&G events and dressing the star on multiple occasions. Earlier this year, Doyoung also attended Milan Fashion Week with the brand, getting first looks at their Menswear Spring/Summer 2024 collection in a sparkling black tuxedo.
Doyoung debuted with the prominent K-pop group NCT, which stands for Neo Culture Technology, in 2016. As the group’s main vocalist, the 27-year-old has roles in various NCT subunits including NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT DoJaeJung. NCT was recently on tour in August and September for their NCT NATION: To the World concerts. Beyond his promotions as an idol singer, Doyoung has also more recently ventured into acting, taking on the leading role in 2022’s Dear X Who Doesn’t Love Me, opposite Han Ji-hyo.
